Our now annual Turkey Burn-off ride went ahead as planned. Well, there were 9 of us in total, Les and Maureen and famly (all the way from Glasgow!), Alison and Matt, Keith and Jos(9). It was wet, cold and still some ice on the path. But we all made it to Mells Post Office in one piece where Steve was waiting with the hot flasks and the Post Office had some nice hot coffee too. On the way back Les and the 'boys' went back the long way via Vobster Cross and the others made it straight back for the Colliers Way. We did hear that some 'would be' riders gathered in the Radstock Hotel some time later, surely the weather hadn't put them off??

We do hope that the weather will now improve as we don't want to much of that in 2010! Happy New Year!
