Our Lighthouse Drama group presented its fifth home-grown pantomime, this year entitled 'When Robin met Rapunzel'.  Never heard of it before?  Don't worry you're not alone because this was the World Premiere!

A century or so before our story began, William the Conqueror had captured  much of the land surrounding Stratton-on-the Fosse,  but then King Richard the Lionheart gradually reclaimed towns and villages, but one stood firm against him.  An evil Sheriff continued to hold tight to the little' Ville de Nord', where a certain Rapunzel had lived in captivity since a child, and its surrounding wall was heavily guarded day and night....

As always, somewhere deep within the madness and mayhem, if you looked really hard, you may have discovered a true story from the pages of the Bible.  You could start reading in Joshua chapter 2 to find out!!
